About Me

img_0956I am a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Chicago. My substantive interests include colonial institutions (as both effect and cause), the politics of decolonization, post-colonial state-building, land tenure regimes, and economic history among other topics in Comparative Politics. My research has been supported by the Nicholson Center for British Studies and the Committee on South Asian Studies at the University of Chicago.

When I am not thinking about the legacies of the Romantics, Utilitarians, and Reactionaries of 19th century British India, I enjoy playing squash (badly), experimenting in the kitchen, and following Michigan football.

You can access my curriculum vitae here.
